Tubb's Hill

Since we moved in, everyone had told us we had to hike Tubb's Hill.
So we did.
And so did a lot of other people.
Mainly us and a whole bunch of hooligan minors that were smoking.
I wanted to report them all- or at least tell their mothers.
But the scenery did not disappoint.
It was breathtaking.

So you hike for awhile and then you pick a beach and swim.
Brock was happy with the first beach we saw, but I was determined to keep going so we could find the perfect one.
Turns out the first one was the perfect one.
The girls made me -a little nervous and Brock- really nervous.
He has this thing with his kids and heights.
Funny- since he's usually so laid back.
Searching for perfection...
not going to find it.
Annie and Kate wanted to jump off the rocks.
This was as high as Brock would let them go. :)
Just kidding- it was the only spot that wasn't 10+ feet high.
Annie wanted to jump off the high rocks and threw a 10+ feet high tantrum when we didn't let her.
Eve spent the day hating the rocks and her hat.
And Tessa, was just Tessa.
Funny, happy girl.
Annie loves the lake- both of us really want a boat.
And Kate was determined to NOT listen to a single thing we said the entire day.
She succeeded.
It's a phase right- this stubborn, independent, defiant craziness.
Right.
It was fun and gorgeous and come visit us and you can do it, too! :)

You should go back next year for the 4th of July. They do a good firework show.

We did that the day we came to your house for dinner. It was nice, but I was too busy being annoyed with all the crazy kids running us over. Too many unattended teens up there. However I would go back there for the cliff jumping and swimming.
