i have wanted to visit boston since i was in elementary school, so i can't tell you how excited i was to go. i was suprised by the gigantiousness of the city- i didn't know it was that big. i was also suprised by the complete madness on the streets. our taxi driver about killed us on the way to the hotel and we got a nice middle finger welcome from a bostonian. i haven't had that warm of a welcome since my visits to laramie, wyoming. 
as we passed this statue, the tour guide said, "some of you may recognize this man as the face of your favorite beer." yes you guessed it, it's everyone's favorite patriot samuel adams.
i have to say i was offended by the lack of attention given to the spot of the boston massacre and other historical sites. i know the americans had it coming, but the incident provided the propaganda that got the revolution really going. seems like they should designate more than a circle of bricks in the middle of an intersection, but i guess people need to drive there.

this picture was one hour away from me begging my mom to let us go back to the hotel.freakin' freezing.

Hey Michelle- no secret- just go to picnik.com- it's easy. but I'm warning you it's addicting. at least for me.
this brings back such good memories. Ive been to Boston three times and I loved it more every time. (although the manners of some people there...UGH!). The freedom trail is so much fun to follow and I loved all the pubs. Did you check out the salem witch wax museum. The guides there are "witches" and are pretty entertaining :)
