Tessa's first carrot.

She really liked it.

I liked that the carrot kept her entertained for ten minutes so that I could finish making dinner. By the way, Tessa's carrot did not go in the soup. That would have been gross. Instead after I put it on the counter, Kate came into the kitchen, picked it up, took a big bite and said, "mmmm...good carrot."
