Last Saturday we went to Pocatello to see the team play. Annie couldn't figure out why we were driving so far if we were still in Idaho so we explained that it was Pocatello- not Boise. The long name of Pocatello was then confusing her so we started calling it Pokie- and she said, "Oh, like hokie-pokie. And we said yes that is where we are going-
Hokie-Pokie, Idaho.
If anyone has ideas on explaining geography to a 3 year old, I am all ears.
So after four hours of driving we arrived at
So after four hours of driving we arrived at HOSTILE HOLT ARENA.
But the girls were very excited to see Aunt Stasie (she is practically a celebrity in our house because she is cute and nice AND she has TWO puppies.)
Brock got the girls really good, best part about the whole night, ice cream and they were very happy.
This is a picture of Annie. She is shocked that Idaho State's coach called on her Grandpa. I think this is what many of the folks at home looked like when they read his lips on tv. My dad wasn't mad because they won by 20.Oh and Annie actually was just being silly-she was oblivious to the near brawl.
Katey-Kate shootin' some hoops after the game.
After the big win- the girls doing funny faces.
Dad doing his radio show with Greg, Mark and Jarom. We waited for him so the girls could see the bus. Annie has been wanting to ride on that bus for 2 years now but both times they played at BSU they lost and so that could not be facilitated. But this time they not only got a tour of the bus, but they also got pizza which Kate smashed all over my shirt on the way back to the car. Yummy.I'm glad that they won.
I'm glad that no one got punched.
I'm glad that my mom decided not to come.
Because if she had come,
Because if she had come,
somebody probably would have got punched.
Good Luck this week.
